Whilst covering as Creative Director at We Are Social, Adidas tasked us with the digital launch of the Adidas Messi Collection – featuring boots and apparel with the Adizero f50 Messi Boot being the star of the show. The content was to be exciting and shareable, and make use of the ‘Team Messi’ ATL concept.
We created the Adidas Team Messi Facebook connected experience placing fans in a personalised film alongside the Argentina icon. Using Facebook user data – names, photos and locations were seamlessly placed in the movie to deliver a personalised and memorable experience. Different intros guide the user through multiple versions of the film depending on your tactical decision making.
Throughout the experience users are asked to select their moves, to beat a series of opponents and scenarios and eventually score that goal. Come the end of the experience you are invited to join Team Messi and share your unique video with a friend.
